Molnár Róbert (sz. Jászberény, 1965) rajztanár vagyok. 2002-től kezdtem kisebb méretű (A6-os) akvarell képeket festeni. Kis festőkészletemmel azóta igyekszem benyomásaimat, élményeimet a helyszínen rögzíteni. Nagy élmény számomra mind a festés, mind a festmények utólagos megtekintése. Képeim többnyire tájakat, lovakat és kutyákat ábrázolnak(előnyben részesítve a magyar ló-és kutafajtákat), de kedvelem a portrét és más hagyományos témákat is. A kisméretű képek mellett természetesen nagyobb méretben és más technikákkal (ceruzarajz, akril, olaj) is dolgozom. Festményeimet kiállításaimon (lásd. Kiállítások) is láthatja a közönség. Az önálló kiállításaim megnyitóin a gyermekek együtt festhetnek a szüleikkel. Jelenleg a Világörökség részét képező Duna-parton festek „pillanatképeket”. Másik kedves helyem a János-hegyen található Erzsébet kilátó.

My name is Róbert Molnár, I was born in 1965 in Jászberény, Hungary. As a drawing teacher by profession I started to paint small size aquarelles in 2002. I strive to document my impressions and experiences on the spot with my travel size painting kit ever since. I enjoy both making the paintings and looking at them later on. My pictures are mostly about landscapes, horses and dogs (giving priority to Hungarian species) but I like creating portraits and other traditional genres as well. Aside from the small size paintings I also work with larger sizes and other techniques, such as pencil, acrylic and oil. I showcase my artwork to the public at exhibitions (see under Exhibitions). On the openings of my independent exhibitions children have the chance to paint together with their parents. Currently I paint “snapshots” on the banks of the Danube in Budapest, which comprises part of a World Heritage site. My other favourite spot is Elizabeth Lookout on the top of János hill in Buda.
I also took part in the creation of animations (see under Films).
